Bru Hero started with a pattern we kept seeing.
A good small business — real customers, real word of mouth — gets quoted R15,000 to R25,000 for a website. They decide to deal with it later. Later never arrives, and two years on they’re still sending people to an Instagram page.
Meanwhile the cheap end of the market makes it worse. R500 templates abandoned halfway. Sites built on platforms the owner can’t access. Developers who stop replying the day the money clears.
Neither of those is what a new business needs. What it needs is a decent website, at a price that isn’t frightening, built by people who answer their phone.
Why the price works.
It’s a fair question when other quotes start at R15,000.
The answer is scope. We do one thing — a clean, fast website for a small business — and we do it the same way every time. No custom design work, no bespoke features, no open-ended projects that drift for months. A fixed scope is what makes a fixed price possible.
We’d also rather build fifty good small websites a year than five expensive ones. That only works if the price is simple and the process doesn’t wander.

How we work.
Fixed prices, published
You’ll never sit through a call just to find out what something costs. The prices are on the site because they should be.
No jargon
If we use a word you don’t know, we’ve explained it badly. Ask and we’ll say it properly. You shouldn’t need to learn our industry to buy from us.
You own it once it’s paid for
Site and domain, handed over whenever you ask, no exit fee. We’d rather keep you because you’re happy than because leaving is difficult.
We answer
WhatsApp us during working hours and you’ll get a person, not a ticket number. Weekdays, 08:00 to 17:00.
We finish
The most common story we hear is a website that got to eighty percent and stopped. Your site goes live, or you don’t pay the last instalment.
We say no
If what you need isn’t what we sell, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere better. Taking work we’re wrong for helps nobody.
What we don’t do.
- Online stores. Selling products online is a different build with different costs. Ask us and we’ll quote it separately or point you at someone.
- Custom design from scratch. Our prices work because our scope is fixed. If you want something bespoke, you want a different kind of agency.
- Rush jobs. Two weeks is the timeline, and it’s two weeks for a reason. We’d rather turn work away than rush it and hand over something we’re not happy with.

Most of the process happens over WhatsApp and email, so where you are makes very little difference to how it runs. If you’re local and would rather meet in person, we’re up for that too.
